SYNESTHESIA TABLE

Year of Creation: 2004
Game and interactivity on a center table. Ninety-nine cubes of solid wood measuring 10cm x 10cm x 10cm form the top of the 100cm x 100cm table and, such as in the homonym game, there is a hollow space. In some cubes scattered in the furniture, the letters of the word Sinestesia (Synesthesia) are engraved in bas-relief.
Thus, the viewer is invited to interact with the piece, whether by playing “peg solitaire” or by trying to spell synesthesia.
Besides having the ludic aspect of play and the game, the table causes the viewer to experience different emotions that relate to the ideas of chaos and order, volume and void.
