Inspired by the hollow elements so characteristic of Brazilian modernist architecture, the UBU planter is based on the study of a compact module that subtracts mass, achieving multiple compositional possibilities.
Like the cobogó panels, it is in subtraction, combined with the alternation and rotation of elements, that the compositional universe expands – full and empty discuss what contains and what is contained.
With an allusion to the flower that sprouts from the earth, the poetics of hope that breaks through the arid terrain, the flower in UBU appears where it is not expected.
